The Full Journey
I am a Chief Operations professional with over ten years of international experience working closely with founders and leadership teams across startups and growing organisations in Europe and Asia. Most people in my position are described as support functions. That is not how I think about it. I have established companies across four countries, sat on boards, co-founded my own consulting firm, and helped businesses win over €10M in grant funding. I build the infrastructure that allows ambitious companies to move fast without falling apart.
My career has spanned some of the most operationally complex environments a startup can face. At Silta Finance I ran finance, HR, and operational execution across a 22-person Europe and Asia team, underpinning €2.2M in equity and token fundraising backed by the Asian Development Bank. At TX Technology I coordinated two EU Horizon 2020 programmes as part of a broader grant portfolio that helped clients win over €8M in EU funding alone, plus a further €2M across national funding programmes in five countries. I have structured cross-border hiring, managed multi-entity financial operations, and delivered corporate governance across Swiss, Dutch, Spanish, Finnish, and Philippine entities.
I was a Board Director at Bold Native Advisors in the Philippines — overseeing finance and operations as the business scaled to ~$1M ARR across 12 staff in Asia and Europe. I later co-founded Native Advisory in Finland, an EU funding advisory firm that delivered grant strategy and execution for high-growth technology clients I have not just supported founders. I have been one.
What I bring to the founders and leadership teams I work with is structure, clarity, and follow-through in environments where those things are in short supply. Early-stage companies are often operationally chaotic — not because the founders are not capable, but because operations is not where their attention belongs. I step in and own it so they do not have to. And increasingly, I generate my own pipeline — attending events, opening conversations, and bringing new opportunities into Inside Startups independently.

Over €10M in EU and national grant funding won across Horizon 2020 and other programmes. From identifying the right programmes through application, reporting, audit, and compliance. This is one of the most underutilised growth levers available to early-stage companies and one of Aiza's strongest specialisations.
Financial operations
Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, bookkeeping, VAT preparation, and coordination with external accountants across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Company establishment and cross-border operations
Aiza has set up and run companies in the UK, Spain, Finland, and the Philippines. She knows how to expand into new markets without unnecessary legal or cost overhead.

Recruitment, onboarding, HR execution, payroll administration, leaver management, and compliant severance across employees and contractors in multiple countries.
Corporate governance and compliance
Board-level governance, shareholder registry administration, statutory filings, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Aiza has served as a Board Director and brings that perspective to every operational engagement.
