What It Is
The AWS AI Accelerator is a grant-backed programme available through approved AWS Advanced Development Partners. It covers the full cost of building a working AI prototype — no cash contribution required from you, and no dilution. In six weeks, you move from a defined AI use case to a deployed proof of concept on AWS infrastructure, with a clear technical roadmap for the path to production. Inside Startups qualifies founders and manages the process end to end, working with an approved AWS Advanced Development Partner to handle the application and the build.
Eligibility
The programme suits founders and technical teams who have a clear AI use case, some evidence of early traction or product-market fit, and a technical stakeholder who can participate in the scoping workshops. It is particularly well suited to companies in FinTech, Healthcare, and Energy, though applications from other sectors are considered.
The Grant
The AWS Proof of Concept grant covers up to $25,000 in AWS credits toward your prototype build. Credits are issued at the start of the engagement. There is no cash contribution required. The one condition is that the prototype is built on AWS.
